HOW IT WORKED
On the 22nd of each month for a year, I released in the shop a new handmade product. Most of the items will be made by me, but some will be commissioned out to fellow crafters who have a unique skill or expertise.
Each project was thoughtfully considered and inspired by something I have loved, made or shared on the blog in the past nine years. I sewed, I knitted, I stamped, I painted. I had items letterpressed, screenprinted and wood-worked. Depending on the item, the products were available in quantities of 29 or 290. Because of the short time-frame and handmade nature, these were special editions and will not be produced or sold again.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE TO MAKE STUFF
...and this project was truly a celebration of that. This business venture was just what I needed to help me re-find my footing as a maker and business owner. It was an experiment in selling and an exercise in goal-setting and follow through. I learned a lot from this product. One a small scale, I developed some better assembly line techniques and met some great local print resources. On a larger scale, I pushed myself creatively and came up with my next big product, the GET TO WORK BOOK.

Thank you so much for following my crafting adventures and supporting handmade. This was a very good year and I am so excited for what's to come.
